Living History project wins the lottery! We're delighted to announce that the Hyde900 Living History project has been awarded an £18,200 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. As a result, we can now make serious progress on the Living History project. We're also in a position to employ a modestly-paid Oral History Co-ordinator. See the Living History page for more...  The Hyde900 Bring Your Own Literature nights are now well established. Listed below are the dates (and themes) for the next couple of events: June 17 - Poetry Picnic in the Park or Midsummer Madness July 15 - theme tbc Bring your original work, or favourite pieces to share at the Hyde Tavern, Hyde Street, Winchester from 8.00pm. For more information ring Paul Williams on 01962 849684. Litter Picking We meet regularly to clean up Hyde by collecting litter from the streets and the park. Litter picking sticks and bags provided. Please wear old clothes and gardening gloves or similar are a good idea. Meet at Hyde Gate at 10.30am. We fan out and meet up at the recycling banks by the Leisure Centre an hour later.
